New Police Station

Archimages completed an in-depth, comprehensive evaluation of the existing police station and identified costs for recommended solutions to replace the aging, inadequate facilities. This report allowed both City of Berkeley and Police leadership groups to compare and evaluate options for the most effective facility possible. Ai designed the new station to improve response times, to have the most efficient and safe delivery of services, and realized efficiencies/shared services resulting in significant savings to operating budgets. We completed construction documents for their new station featuring a 911 Call Center, administrative offices, holding cells and a Sally Port. The design team addressed core space needs, mechanical and electrical systems capacity, technology upgrades, and expansion opportunities.
