Children’s Specialty Care Center – Butler Hill Road
The Children’s Specialty Care Center is a new outpatient facility focused on providing convenient and accessible pediatric services under one roof. Washington University physicians and St. Louis Children’s Hospital are teaming up to provide care for children and families. This contemporary facility is designed to be a warm and inviting space for children supporting their physical, social, and emotional needs. Families will be in surroundings that reduce stress, promote healing, and provides a superior patient experience. The creative use of bold, vivid colors with expansive white surfaces produce an energetic yet calming atmosphere.
The building will house an outpatient surgery center with two OR’s and a procedure room, and a radiology suite including x-ray, MRI, and ultrasound. An orthopedic clinic, psychology clinic, multi-specialty clinic, lab/blood draw, physical therapy, speech, audiology/EEG, ophthalmology, cardiology, PFT round out the program spaces.
Amenities include a food kiosk, a “safety stop” for safety gear plus car seat, helmet and home safety consultations, and multipurpose classroom space. The three story building also has future expansion planned.
